Welcome!
Congratulations on taking this step toward better dental health.
Dr. Marvin Solomon, a specialist in Periodontics and Implantology, diagnoses and treats oral pathology. He focuses on conservative and surgical treatment of gum disease, cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance your smile, and dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth.
Dr. Solomon believes that your right to choose a dentist is an important freedom. We strive to make your visits as comfortable and as pleasant as possible. We strongly believe that our patient's comfort is an important part of quality dental care. Our mission is to treat every patient as if he or she were our only patient. Our office remains dedicated to providing optimal care and working with you to achieve that goal.
We are extraordinarily proud of our staff, which is comprised of caring and dedicated professionals. They communicate well with the patients and each other, ensuring that the patient's surgical and administrative needs are met as efficiently and as smoothly as possible. Although a referral by a dentist is not required for a visit to our office, we work closely as a team with your referring dentists. In addition, we welcome referrals from patients and friends of the practice.
Our office is here to listen to your questions and concerns and to help provide solutions leading to your better health. Dr. Solomon is also happy to meet with you for an evaluation to answer your questions and to suggest a treatment plan.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions by E-mail (solomonperio@comcast.net), telephone (732.257.7300), or fax (732.257.7316).
Scheduling Information
Dr. Solomon sees patients Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on alternate Saturdays. We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible if you have pain or an emergency situation. In those situations, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
We make every effort to stay on schedule to minimize waiting at the time of your appointment. Referral of emergency patients may cause delays to the schedule, and your understanding and patience are very much appreciated.
Please assist us at the time of your initial visit to our office by providing your referral slip and X-rays from your referring dentist, as well as a list of medications you are currently taking. In addition, if you have dental insurance, please bring any forms or insurance cards with you to the appointment.
Please notify our office if you have a medical condition or concern prior to your examination visit, (for example, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic heart disease, heart murmurs requiring premedication, severe diabetes, or hypertension).

Dental Insurance
Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. We realize that dental insurance is complex, and that it is extremely difficult to understand how to make it work, or even to work with certain dental insurance companies. That is why we provide full assistance to you.
As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit dental insurance forms and predetermine benefits to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled, and will work diligently to make this happen as quickly as possible. It is our policy that payment be made at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made.
Please be aware that some dental insurance companies take longer than others to complete payment. If necessary, our office will contact the dental insurance company, or we may request your help in this matter.
Financial Information
Statements are sent out monthly. Please note that most insurance companies will respond to our submission of your claim within four to six weeks. Any insurance payment made directly to our office, resulting in an overpayment, will be immediately refunded to you.
For your convenience, we accept Visa, American Express and Mastercard. Financing of case fees is also available. If you have any problems or questions, please refer any inquiries to our staff.
